Sound Issues when Running Swyx and Skype for Business

Have you experienced sounds issues when running Swyx and Skype for Business side by side? Are you hearing multiple dial tones when answering a call?

 

 

Our advice is to:

  1. Upgrade to Swyx 2015 R3
  2. Install Jabra Direct – this PC application enables you to manage your Jabra USB sound devices
  3. In the Jabra Direct settings, select Swyx as the default application
  4. Reboot your machine for the changes to take effect

Carrying out the above will mute either Swyx or Skype for Business when using the other application
