Incident Summary

Root Cause

The disruption was triggered by a network change made by our data centre provider, Pulsant, which affected connectivity to hosted services. During the recovery process, two further issues arose on the provider’s network which caused additional brief drops in connectivity. Our engineers stabilised the environment by temporarily isolating part of the provider’s network connection.

Resolution

Full service was restored and the network stabilised by 09:57, following Pulsant reverting their change and our engineers applying the stabilisation measure above.

Planned Maintenance

  • To round off this incident, we will be performing maintenance on Sunday morning. The work will be carried out in a controlled manner and we do not anticipate significant disruption, though brief interruptions to connectivity are possible during the window.
