We have identified the root cause of the issue, there were some low level Denial of Service attacks combined with hardware errors that were causing occasional connectivity drops to our hosted services. After working closely with our datacenter partners we have been able to resolve these issues and have not seen any event since. We will continue to monitor the impacted infrastructure closely.
