Symantec firewall filtering traffic on a Hyper-V virtual network adapter
May 9th, 2013
Categories: Cloud, IT Support

We have found that implementing Symantec end point on host HyperV machines can effect the ability of VMs to receive traffic, i.e. the host machines AV is filtering traffic on the virtual machines network adapter. Our specific example was for Jetro using ports 13000 & 13004. We removed symantec end point from host machine.
